Angeles Herrero is the Operations Manager at Kazbar and one of the three owners of Kazbar.
Originally from Mexico, Angeles moved to Singapore in 2002 to pursue her dreams, initially working for another establishment as she settled into her new life here. Angeles’s inspiration and passion for food comes from her Grandmother, who was an enthusiastic cook whose dedication even saw her making her own cheese and butter!
Angeles is passionate about good food, fresh ingredients and loves the service industry. This is reflected in her service attitude, and the team that works with her. To Angeles, great service is all about excellent training and having a passion for your job.
As part of her training, Angeles studied Hotel Administration in Mexico City, after which she attended the Culinary Institute of America in New York before returning to Mexico and landing a job as Executive Chef for the American Embassy. In Mexico she worked for Tequila Jose Cuervo organizing all their events and Tequila tastings ……no wonder she is a Tequila lover!
